THE NATION OF AEON – FUTURISTIC ERA
THE PLOT
THE PLOT
In a world of the future, all countries, states and cities are ruled by one government, a government to whom the term 'democracy' does not exist. They keep control over the Nation of Aeon with an iron fist, using a mix of state of the art security, policing and science to see that order is maintained.
The Government has introduced numerous radical methods of control, although they are most widely known for their deal with Pharmex Industries, funding their Human Improvement Module in exchange for advanced tracking and surveillance equipment, and more importantly, extensive 'modifications' to their security force, the U.A.S (United Aeon Security.)
While most of Aeon's citizens are aware of the unsociable situation they are in, many are able to overlook it. The Government's meticulous order has meant that most of the population is in a job, most have fantastic medical care, and most have a home. The threat of U.A.S physical enforcement also helps keep people in line. Those that go without are easily forgotten, and have become used to living on the fringes of society.
However, as with all totalitarian organizations, there are those who are inclined to resisting their ruling. The Nations of Aeon are no different, and a large number of rebels have sprung to light, an anti-government force going by the name of 'Liberation.' Lead by the ever elusive Kuro, they work out of sight, staying under the U.A.S radar. They plan small raids, constantly looting supply trains for weaponry, forced to cobble together what armaments they can. As time has passed, conflicts between Liberation Troops and the U.A.S have only become more frequent, each time seeming more violent than the last.

SITE CHARACTERS NEEDED
HIDEO KURASAMA (THE PRESIDENT)
Played by: Musashi
President Hideo Kurasama is an ambitious, strong willed man. Despite his young age, he has enough power and will to dominate the entirety of Aeon, and controls it and the Government unquestioned. He is quick witted and cunning, and he will allow nothing to stand in his way. Power is all he cares for, and despite trying to appear a humanitarian to the public, his only true interest is himself.
COMMANDER VADEN (COMMANDER OF THE U.A.S)
Played by:
Vaden is a brute of a man, who despite his somewhat monstrous appearance, is remarkably clever. He has always been a supporter of the young President, and when Aeon was taken, he found himself instantly promoted to the Head of the U.A.S. Every battalion takes orders directly from him, and he does not tolerate failure. Ruthless and unforgiving, he has made it his personal task to weed out and destroy the Liberation Movement.
KURO (LIBERATION MOVEMENT LEADER)
Played by: Kuro
Little is known about Kuro, other than that he was once a U.A.S member, who after Kurasama's rise to power defected and went into hiding. He built the Liberation Movement around those mistreated by the Government's new 'humanitarian' plans, and often leads raids against the U.A.S in an attempt to overthrow the tyrannical Government. Strong-willed, but kind at heart, Kuro is an icon amongst the Liberation Movement, and a popular leader.
CAPTAIN TSUKO MURAKI (LIBERATION MOVEMENT CAPTAIN)
Played by:
Tsuko is a powerfully built, gruff man. He is slow to trust, and seems inherently ill at ease around most people. However, he is a loyal friend to Kuro, and while apparently indifferent, is very caring of those in the Liberation Movement. He does his best to carry out orders as given, and will put his life on the line should any of his team mates be threatened.
THE REST OF THE INFORMATION
In the Nation of Aeon you may have:
A Citizen of Aeon- A regular human living in the world of Aeon.
U.A.S Member – A member of the U.A.S, they are both well trained in combat and obedient to their commanders and the government.
Liberation Movement Member- A member of the Liberation movement, they tend to live on the edge of society, scavenging equipment, constantly trying to sabotage the Government and the U.A.S.
Android- An artificially created human, Androids are manufactured in the Logitec Facility. All have falsely implanted memories and are loyal to the U.A.S. However, some have been 'rescued' by the Liberation movement, and have been modified to become free humans, their memory and mind restraints removed. They are much stronger than humans, having a robotic inner skeleton.
These are occupations your character may have:
Citizen of Aeon
Citizens of Aeon work in either the shopping, government or business districts, and live in any of the housing districts over Aeon. Others will be privileged enough to be hired by Pharmex or Logitec. They have no special abilities, and most are unaffected by the constant war between the U.A.S and Liberation Movement.
U.A.S Soldier
The most numerous type of solider in the U.A.S. They are well trained in combat and armed with state of the art weaponry. All U.A.S soldiers can pick ONE power from the Human Improvement list, and take equipment from the U.A.S armoury list.
U.A.S Officer (specify rank)
The ranker officials of the U.A.S are much like their Soldier counterparts, although they have slightly more in the way of leadership skills. All U.A.S Officers can pick TWO powers from the Human Improvement list, and take equipment from the U.A.S armoury.
U.A.S Robot Control
The U.A.S Robot Control are rarely front line troops. Each has a Logitec robot assistant, and the control panel for that robot. They often accompany the U.A.S soldiers in battle, aiding to their already impressive strength with their robot allies. Robot Control have NO powers from the Human Improvement List, but may pick a Servitor from the Logitec Robot List, and take weaponry from the U.A.S armoury.
U.A.S Walker Pilot
'U.A.S Walker' is the name given to the huge mecha's built by the Logitec Facility. At the heart of each monolithic robot sits a human pilot. These are currently very rare, and are saved only for all out war. U.A.S Walker's may pick NO powers from the Human Improvement List, but rather have a Mecha. THESE CHARACTERS MUST BE ADMIN APPROVED.
Liberation Movement Member
Members of the Liberation movement can come from all walks of life, although they all have one thing in common – they hate the Government and the U.A.S. Usually poorly armed, they can choose weaponry from the Liberation armoury list.
Liberation Movement Officer
Working directly under Kuro, Liberation Movement Officers tend to be ex-U.A.S members sympathetic to the Liberation Movement's cause. They may pick ONE power from the Human Improvement List and take weaponry from the Liberation armoury list.
Liberation Movement Mechanic
The Liberation Movement has the greatest mechanics in the entirety of Aeon. They are tasked with converting U.A.S weapons and armaments into items usable by the resistance. They may pick ANY weapon from ANY weapon list.
Human Improvement Module
Most U.A.S members are put through the Human Improvement Module, a program to alter human genetics to make individuals 'super' human. Come here to find character upgrades should your occupation allow it.
Improved Muscle Structure
The Improvement Module alters the genetics governing the bodies muscle structure. All those with this improvement have significantly enhanced strength, speed and agility, although none of these attributes are comparable to that of an androids or robots.
Improved Responses
The Improvement Module enhances the speed that the bodies synapses can relay information from the brain to the body. It allows people to react far faster to the things they see, hear or feel, and therefore seem to act almost before things happen. It equally improves the human sensory system.
Mechanical Assimilation
The Improvement Module changes the human brain to function more like that of a computer, enabling U.A.S members to instinctively know how to use any mechanical device they come across. It also allows photographic memory and memory recall.
Enhanced Brain Function
The Improvement Module increases the function of the brain, allowing it to work out problems at an unbelievable rate, giving U.A.S members fantastic intuition. It equally allows an enhanced accuracy, and the ability to predict the movements of others.
U.A.S Equipment
The U.A.S have access to state of the art equipment. As a basic guideline, the following weapons listed is by no means a complete list, although they are the most common.
U.A.S Rifle ~ A compact rifle with a number of sights and attachments. It has two fire modes, single shot and automatic, and is carried by most troops.
U.A.S Service Pistol ~ an all purpose pistol with a powerful recoil. It tends to be a side-arm, used in small or crowded areas where the rifle may hurt unintended passers by. It is single shot only.
U.A.S Long Rifle ~ A state of the art sniper rifle with numerous scope settings. It is single shot or semi-automatic, and very powerful. Very few people carry it however due to its size.
Service Knife~ A long combat knife with a serrated edge. Deadly at close range.
U.A.S Uplink ~ A metallic sheet that can be fitted over the eyes. It allows the wear to see the world in numerous ways, be it night vision or infra-red. It allows images to be broadcast to other U.A.S troops, and can download information from the Spire's U.A.S database.
U.A.S Rig Suit ~ Every U.A.S member wears the Rig Suit. It is a body gloved armour, light and malleable. Over it are numerous sensors and pieces of armour, protecting vital organs and sending signals back to the main Rig, a set of lights on the back of the suit. It constantly monitors heart rate and adrenaline levels, and can adjust them accordingly.
Liberation Movement Armoury
Unlike the U.A.S the Liberation Movement tend to be poorly equipped, and use only what they can scavenge. Their mechanics build their weapons, and while they may not look much, some can be fairly effective.
Liberation Rifle- A highly modified version of the old U.A.S rifle, it is an automatic rifle with no attachments or sights. Who needs them?
Liberation Pistol- Very similar to the U.A.S pistol, they aren't as powerful, but are easier to conceal.
Liberation Sniper Rifle- A modified Long Rifle, it has only one scope and one sight. However, it has been modified to have a fully automatic setting.
Pulse Knife- A weapon completely unique to the Liberation Movement, fashioned first for Kuro, it soon became a regular piece of equipment. It is a service issue combat knife implanted with an electronic generator, which when turned on, encases the blade in a sheath of buzzing electric energy. When ignited, it can cut easily through metal, and is very useful at disrupting both human and robotic nervous systems.
U.A.S Robots
U.A.S Robot Controllers each have their own robot. They have only one, and it is customized to their personal preference. They must be of human size, but beyond that, they have their own choice of armament and appearance. There are however, three main types of robot;
Combat Servitor- A robot meant for war, they tend to be given numerous armaments.
Scout Servitor- A robot for reconnaissance, the robot has recording equipment and various sets of relay equipment.
Hacking Servitor- A robot used for hacking computers and information systems. They tend to be quite rare, but do exist.
Please be creative, and write a little about your Robot in the Equipment section of your profile!
U.A.S Mecha
U.A.S Mecha are towering machines controlled from within by a human driver. They are kept in reserve should a case of national emergency arise, but due to their size and power, they are rarely deployed. All Mecha and their pilots MUST have admin approval.
There is no set Mecha list, and it is left to your creativity to describe and showcase your characters robot. Put your description in the Equipment section of your profile, and try to include an image.
