"This is what happens when two worlds collide..."
NAME: Nayda Aziza Vandom
AGE: Looks about sixteen, but she's about...234
GENDER: Female
RACE: Elf/Human
OCCUPATION: Wanderer
REGION: Land of Astale
ERA: Medieval
POWER: Has the ability to see the future and heal wounds.
EQUIPMENT: Two short swords, a bow, arrows, a purple crystal necklace.

DISLIKES: Liars, sarcastic people, prejudice, dark magic, people who are too proud.
FEARS: Death, losing a loved one, dark magic, the war, strangers.
SECRET: She has a dark background she doesn't like to share.
PERSONALITY: Nayda can appear as a very quiet and shy girl...and she is. She's not very sociable, and would rather be alone, however when she opens up and gets to know people, she reveals her kind and peaceful nature. This nature makes it very easy for her to find friends, although she is still uncomfortable around them. She's very sweet and selfless by nature and is more than willing to help out anyone who asks her to do so--for as long as they have good intentions.
Nayda can also fall into depression easily, but whenever this happens, she tries not to show it, although she is most likely to fail because she's not good at pretending. She doesn't consider herself wise in any sense of the word, but can be really wise and give good advice, although she doesn't notice. She sometimes daydreams, and can be very romantic. Because of her mixed blood, Nayda's eyesight and sense of hearing are slightly weaker than an elf's and her fighting and magic skills are not well developed. She's often a victim of prejudice and is looked down upon because of her heritage.
HISTORY: Nayda's is the daughter of an elf knight and a human woman named Emilie. She was granted the ability to see the future and heal wounds. As a young child, Nayda remembered hearing a 'voice' in her mind, a female voice that called itself Kyura. Nayda used to think of the voice as an imaginary friend, and while listening to her proved fun at first, Kyura's words soon started to scare her, as the 'imaginary friend' talked to Nayda about dark magic and tried to convince her to help her get revenge. Nayda started to fear Kyura's advice, and soon started to try and ignore her, but found that it was impossible, as Kyura's voice went on talking to her.
Eventually, Nayda told her mother about Kyura, but as she did so she fell completely unconscious and when she woke up, her mother was dead beside her. The terrified child ran to her father instead, and he didn't ask questions, instead taking her away. Kyura's voice didn't come back after that, but eventually Nayda learned that Kyura was not imaginary; she was a dark spirit from ancient times that had possessed her when she was merely a newborn, as Nayda's mixed heritage made it easier for the dark spirit to fuse her soul with hers. Nayda was so scared that she attempted to run away and got lost somewhere, and was found by an elf boy that was almost her exact age. Nayda befriended Aiden easily and lived with him for a while but when she grew old enough she left and started to travel the world.
ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE: Amegari peeked curiously over the fight, but didn't like to see it. It was not in her nature to enjoy watching those strange displays of physical violence, but she was curious as to how it would end. Amegari had seen many little children fighting in her home world, but she always considered such fight was just that, a child's game. People could be so strange sometimes...
The taunting was something the child would never understand either. Fighting, in general was a stupid act. What with the need to fight some people--men especially, seemed to have? She figured it was a way to prove to themselves, and to everyone else that they were tough, rude and fearsome. But it was still stupid...violence only generated more violence and in the end nobody ever managed to win. It was like war; the one who hit the hardest won. That didn't sound like you could really win something with it.
Amegari cringed as she watched over the scene, a nearly hysteric panic rising into her eyes as it progressed. Someone could seriously get hurt...
When she was asked if she had heavy objects that wouldn't break easily, the child shook her head, her large blue eyes wide in panic...and then, all of a sudden, her wooden rocking chair flew out the window and hit McMountainman right on the back, not hard enough as to knock him out, but hard. The rest of the crowd dispersed as the rocking chair literally broke in half. Oh...telekinesis was working by itself again? That was bad...
Suddenly the drunk man looked up at her. "Did you throw that?!"he snapped at her. Amegari blushed a deep red and shook her head.
"I-it wasn't me, it wasn't!"she said, her voice high-pitched. Oh well; yes it was, but that hadn't been on purpose...she still couldn't control that silly telekinesis and it sometimes acted out...but it had been an accident...
The drunk man started to make his way to the windowsill. Amegari's eyes widened and she found herself paralyzed in fear.
