• Rin is a very untrusting man. He is suspicious and wary of everyone. He was betrayed a long time ago, and ever since he has had a hard time giving his trust to others.
  
  
• He is cynical, and he believes that people have selfish motives, having little faith in others. He thinks that the world is out to get him, and he wants nothing to do with anyone. It is part of the reason why he prefers to live such an isolated life; this way no one will be able to hurt him.
