It was peaceful for a few moments, he knew that Nayda needed to rest, she was obviously physically taxed from her ordeal, whatever it was. He didn't mind too much that she didn't reply right away, just being with her, and holding her to him made the world around him, no matter how dreary or rainy, seem like the sun was shining fully and brightly. Errol couldn't say for one second that he felt like this about any of the other girls he had been with. Something was special about this Elf, the blonde, purple-eyed Elf that caught him by surprise. Her faint whisper catching Errol's ears and he blocked out the pattering of the rain around them to lean forward and listen to her. "I don't regret meeting you," she said, which made his heart feel light, a tingle up the back of his neck followed. It was a good feeling, he liked to hear that she didn't regret meeting him, it was as if everything was falling into place. When her purple eyes locked with his, Errol's blue eyes locked back, his face feeling warm and was obviously turning red. "You...you have been the only man that has cared enough to actually listen to me, you're very kind, and sweet...and...and you're a great friend...Errol..." Nayda continued, his face turning redder, a smile forming onto his face. The light crack in her voice worried him a bit, but the tears didn't come, so he continued to smile. Errol didn't like it when girls cried, though he would always do what he could to comfort them.
He liked the fact that she called him her friend, too, you've got to start somewhere after all, and since meeting her not long ago for the first time, he was already friends with her. Errol was happy that he had gotten this close to her in such a short period of time, not for any other reason than to be her friend back. Under his cloak, he moved a hand and took her hand in his, slipping his fingers in between hers and holding her hand gingerly. He felt this a suitable gesture, and he followed up taking her hand in his by whispering back to her.
"You're a beautiful and amazing girl, Nayda, and I'll always be your friend, don't worry about anything too much, because I'll be there."
Errol continued to smile down at Nayda, looking into those pretty purple orbs, wondering what she would say next, hanging off of her every word. He liked this girl alot, and it showed, he hoped she would show it back, if not now, then one day soon.
