Wondering through a grave yard wasn't a favorite past time of his it was simply to cliched in his opinion, a vampire suckling around a graveyard in search for supposed pray, honestly he had better things to do with his time then lurk in a graveyard. However Kaname knew a few who had fallen to death and their very bodies were buried hear among the rubble which barely passed as gravestone, none of the were even remotely legible.
Wondering through the shadows, even as the sun beat down. He was glad that folklore did not insist that he would instantly com-bust at the first rays of sunlight, that was a simply story one that wasn't the slightest bit true to any degree. As he moved carelessly, his long fingers brushed over each tombstone that he passed, the texture rough, aged with dirt and weeds, did they not have a maintenance man these days?
Vines choked each tombstone, most had been literally reduced to rubble, weeds filled the ground and the surrounding area, on some level he would give anything to find peace, an to join those who slept in an eternal slumber. Yet, that was a dream. He knew he should probably be sleeping at this moment at time, yet he had nothing to look forward to so he took to the luxury of a wonder and to pay a visit to old friends. Before long, he reached the weathered tomb stone, and knelt before it, resting his long arm across his knee, he bowed his head and with fluid motions plucked the weeds away.
Both were dear friends, both had been killed by unnatural causes, other vampires, lesser vampires then he, and yet he had been to late to save them, they had left him alone once again, yet it was something he was used to so there was no real difference. The breeze stirred once more, ghost of the past, and present. Perhaps irritated that they had been disturbed? He smirked, amused by such a childish thought, there were no such things as ghosts, yet, many believed there was no such thing as vampires, but here he was proof. Standing slowly he turned and walked slowly away, he had paid his respects, it was then the wind whispered, an object closing in. Turning swiftly he caught it.
A hat by the rim, It was a hideous looking thing if ever he had seen it, it was old, and well worn so it seemed. Yet the scent that surrounded it was obvious that whoevers hat it was lived in the thing, the stretch was almost off putting, did people not wash? where had the sense of hygiene gone? Before he could do with it as he pleased he saw a figure approaching, a man in search for his hat, that much was obvious given the cursing that left the man's lips. This was a man that certainly needed to get out more.
As the man approached Kaname extended his hand. "I believe this is yours?" he stated his tone bored, and calm, once again level, with little in the way of any emotion. He tossed the hat to wards the man, with precision. Not seeing if he had caught it or not, Kaname turned and begun to walk away, perhaps he would return to his bed? It was certainly inviting, if he slept he would miss little, other than a meal. [/size]
