The request was rather interesting, it meant that he would have to either grease some palms or apply some pressure. It was one he could do, just given enough time and resources. "Now that is going to cost ya, information like that to be accurate is hard to come by. Here's how I work, you pay me half up front and half when you have what you asked for..." He paused and quickly hushed as the shots were brought by and the glanced over towards the sender, giving him a critical and wary glance as he reached into his coat. The message that it came from the good colonel made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, if he had to he would kill this man who obviously knew something if he dared to interrupt the meeting. "Tell him thanks but next time he interrupts I'll break his kneecaps, then put a bullet into his spine. Those exact words..." He made sure that the waitress got his message as he looked at the drink, wary it was tampered with even though this place had a good reputation.
The look he had on his face was of annoyance, and if anyone knew that look he was probably going to pull a gun out of a sense of self preservation. Once the waitress left in a hurry to deliver the reply, he closed his eyes and shook his head. "Looks like the rat has made the move, anyone know who this colonel is. If things were quieter I'd follow him and kill him, but I can't..." He said to Sasuke and Sam with the same annoyed look, his hand back on the table with his drink as he chose to ignore the shot and moved it to the end of the table so it could be returned. He was not willing to trust this situation, but nothing could change the fact he never accepted drinks from strangers as they could be laced with something.

Sam was nervous and it was obvious. Great. You're going to blow our whole cover. he thought. Then she whispered to him. Do you really think its a good idea we stay here?" Sasuke answered back in her ear. "It will be more suspicious to leave now. Just stay calm. I'll handle it if something goes wrong. Trust me." He focused on Trent again as he had started to speak. "Now that is going to cost ya, information like that to be accurate is hard to come by. Here's how I work, you pay me half up front and half when you have what you asked for..." He was interrupted by the waitress bring them 3 shot glasses. She said it was from the good Colonel. What was he planning?
Trent seemed ticked. "Tell him thanks but next time he interrupts I'll break his kneecaps, then put a bullet into his spine. Those exact words..." After the waitress left, Trent continued. "Looks like the rat has made the move, anyone know who this colonel is. If things were quieter I'd follow him and kill him, but I can't..." Sasuke debated whether or not to give the information he had. He pushed the shot away since he could do nothing with it, before looking at the situation.
This man seemed to be on their side on this matter. If the Colonel was on to them, he would most likely get busted as well. Sasuke nodded leaning forward back into the position he was in before. Chin rested on the backs of his folded hands. "Colonel Nero of the U.A.S. He sells outdated weapons to the Liberation. Other than that I don't know."

"It will be more suspicious to leave now. Just stay calm. I'll handle it if something goes wrong. Trust me."
She took a deep breath trying to calm down. It'd be just fine, right? She tried to tell herself that, and it started to work, though only briefly.
Her nerves started up one again as the bar tender came back with shot glasses, from the colonel apparently. Was it some kin of test? Had he figured out who one of them were? She chewed her lip again. The panicked feeling, like her heart was going to explode from to much adrenaline, came back.
Tell him thanks but next time he interrupts I'll break his kneecaps, then put a bullet into his spine. Those exact words..."
" Was...was that a good idea?" she stammered out the question, looking at Trent. That was bound to cause some kind of ruckus. What would happen if a fight broke out? Would any other U.A.S soldiers jump in? Could they escape? All those worries rushed through her head. One might think practically growing up in the Liberation things would be different. Though still, she was only a teenage girl after all. She had never seen real combat, just training sessions at the rig. That wasn't exactly preparation for the real thing
The violet haired girl looked at Sasuke again " I still think we should go." she pressed, not even bothering to whisper this time. She glanced back at the other guy, Tempest? Not that she was one for leaving anyone behind, e seemed he could take care of himself. She looked back to Sasuke, still chewing her lip.

Nero's gaze had remained unbroken on the booth. They were starting to act up more and more, it made him giddy with excitement, his heart rate almost to the point of activating the highest stages of the Chemical Aggression Enhancers. They definitely didn't belong, and best of all, he had weeded them out in almost no time flat. Nero's judgment was clouded, and he was enjoying it. When the waitress came back and told him that there was going to be kneecap breaking and bullets directed toward him, Nero's smirk turned into a wide toothed smile accompanied by a cackling laugh. Nero slapped his knee and with the same hand, reached for his highball glass, the same one he had previously put his cigarette out into, and took a swig from the drink. He swallowed it back like it was nothing, and stood from his stool, reaching underneath one arm and pulling out one of his heavy U.A.S. service pistols. With his free hand, he pulled back the slide with a loud 'click-clack'. He paused for a moment, staring at the booth, his face still twisted into a devious smile. Some of the people who were minding their own business looked up, and began to make their way out of the bar as quietly as possible. Even the barkeep slowly ducked down underneath the bar with the waitress. Nero reached for his belt with his free hand, pulling out his pack of cigarettes and, flicking his wrist, got a cigarette to poke out filter-end from the opening in the pack. Nero held it up to his mouth and bit down on the filter, liberating the cigarette from it's package, and replacing the package into it's proper pouch. Nero didn't reach for his lighter this time, instead he took a few heavy steps toward the booth, and cocked his head to the side slightly. The bar had quieted down, so much so that he could hear his own heartbeat pounding in his temples. He heard the girl, not even hushing her voice now, telling the man she was with that she still thought they should go. Nero continued to make his heavy-footed way toward the booth, swinging the arm he unholstered his pistol with.
"So... I buy ya drinks... And you don't drink 'em... What kinda way is that to thank someone's generosity?" Nero seethed through gritted teeth, the cigarette still clenched between them. Not waiting for an answer, Nero continued "I'll tell ya what that is... Its damn disrespectful..." Nero halted a few long steps away from the booth, he bumped up against the edge of a table, an unattended drink being knocked off balance and toppling over, spilling to the ground. Nero's smile had yet to fade, his eyes clouded, wide and wild. He lifted the pistol and aimed it at the tip of his cigarette, pulling the trigger and unleashing a deafening gunshot into the enclosed space. A bullet hole in the ceiling smoked, as did the tip of his cigarette. Nero took a deep drag from the smoke, exhaling through his gritted teeth. "I know y'all don't belong... Been watchin'... But you know that, don't 'chya" Nero continued to seethe, directing the last bit toward the girl sitting with the two men. "So, lets cut to the chase..."

The colonel had an eye on him, and if he was an arms dealer withing the UAS then he probably was a gamble, but the gamble might pay off if the risk was taken with proper precautions. Still he never accepted drinks from strangers unless they were clients, and he was not a client. "It's bad business to cut into anothers discussion, even worse to approach when it's clear you were interrupting Colonel. So why don't you cut to the chase and tell me why your here right now, otherwise this is a private booth for a reason." Trent replied warningly but not aggressive, reminding the colonel about manners when it comes to business. His hand was in his coat still, ready to draw at any time. Looking to the other two he sighed and finished his drink, wondering why they were getting so jumpy. "I don't accept drinks from strangers, never know whats in them." He added as he looked at his now empty glass, he did not mean to stir the pot but Nero was being troublesome and he would remove him if he had to by force.
"So you two know this is how it's done in certain circles, many of my associates would have replied with a bullet over words. So if your gonna get scared off by that, then it's too late your as guilty as me. These two don't drink, so really all you needed was one shot." He said the last part towards the colonel taking one of the remaining drinks and downing it to at least keep the matter cool between them and this officer, he wanted to know more about him anyways now. Such a man might help him out if he had him as a contact later on, after all he always needed weapons and to get his hands on a UAC sniper rifle with full rig as well as the display system to match it. "So you talk first, right now I don't trust you one bit. I've been in all sorts of bad places." He then went quiet as he took the second remaining shot and downed it, if they were drugged he would know but at least now he would have kept them from any harm. Even a prospective client he would keep safe from possible traps.

" I still think we should go." Sam continued to pester. But before Sasuke could answer her the Colonel had barged in on them. What a pain. He knew his weaker partner was freaking out now. Calm down you idiot. He said to her in his mind. Stretching out once more as Nero shot the ceiling to light his cigarette. He rested his arm on Sam again. Show off. "I know y'all don't belong... Been watchin'... But you know that, don't 'chya. So, lets cut to the chase..." The Colonel sneered. He seemed to direct it to Sam. Great. She's gonna crack. Sasuke gave her a "stay quite I'll handle it" look. The last thing he needed was for her to say something stupid.
Trent commented first. "It's bad business to cut into anothers discussion, even worse to approach when it's clear you were interrupting Colonel. So why don't you cut to the chase and tell me why your here right now, otherwise this is a private booth for a reason." Trent's words were redirected to the two Liberation members. "So you two know this is how it's done in certain circles, many of my associates would have replied with a bullet over words. So if your gonna get scared off by that, then it's too late your as guilty as me. These two don't drink, so really all you needed was one shot." What was that supposed to mean? Just because she was scared out of her mind didn't mean he was. Lucky for him though, Trent downed one of their shots. He didn't know if anything was in them. Sasuke had automatically scanned the drinks when they were brought. They were clean. Trent had nothing to worry about.
"You can't blame her for wanting to leave after a gun's been pulled. She is a woman." He noted to the Colonel before turning to Sam. "I'm sorry, Sweetie, but you do jump when anyone watches you. It gives off the wrong message and will get us in trouble with the government. That kind of stuff says you have something to hide. Please, lighten up." He finished with a fake kiss on her cheek. There was an explanation to her behavior.

So... I buy ya drinks... And you don't drink 'em... What kinda way is that to thank someone's generosity?" Her fears were realized as she heard the voice. She turned to see the man with an unholstered pistol. She visibly shrank back, eyes widening but not making a sound until he fired it. She jumped, letting out a little squeak.
"I know y'all don't belong... Been watchin'... But you know that, don't 'chya"
The comment was rather obviously directed at her. She cursed herself and her paranoia. It was then Tempest cut i with more words that probably wouldn't do the best to help there situation, a few of them directed at them.'
Sasuke cut in again though. "You can't blame her for wanting to leave after a gun's been pulled. She is a woman." Despite herself she managed a "whats that supposed to mean?" kind of glare. She wasn't weak! Well maybe she hadn't really do much to prove otherwise thus far, but still. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, still though her heart thundered against her chest. A gun has been pulled, a fire shot. She had to keep her cool. " I'm sorry to have caused any trouble." She tried to muster up all the innocence and acting she could. Her leaned in to kiss her cheek and she resisted the urge to pull away, forcing a little smile. She couldn't act utterly repulsed after all. hopefully the colonel would buy his words, and their act.

Nero tilted his head, shifting the cigarette with his lips to the other corner of his mouth, and taking a deep drag, blowing it in the general direction of the booth where the three sat. They were putting up a facade, and they didn't like his presence. Most others wouldn't talk to, or even threaten a UAS officer the way this one man did. Though the man tried to appease Nero by drinking the shots he has gotten for them, he had already pressed all of Nero's buttons. Some would be wise enough to know a Rig suit was linked directly to a hub through long-range telecommunication, if he were to take damage suddenly, or in the worst case, die, reinforcements in mass would be crawling this dirty little area, combing it for anyone armed, and detaining or possibly extra-judicially executing them on the spot. Nero liked that idea, executing detained prisoners, being both judge, juror and executioner was a thrilling proposition. By this time, Nero's Aggression enhancers were cycling at a combat rate, though nothing was going on. He kept an outwardly composed facade for the time being, though his eyes were still wild. Nero made a quick response to the one shady man's pressing questions. "There ain't any privacy in this world... They're watchin', even when you think they ain't." Nero's gaze bored into the man's shady face, he couldn't see his eyes, but he couldn't see much with clouded vision. "I don't see any reason why I should or shouldn't be here, and I don't see any reason as to why a civvie should be questionin' me as to what my business is anywhere at any time." Nero's clouded gaze shifted from the shady man, to the couple, the one man, upon closer inspection, boy, and his just as young little woman. It seemed he was trying to calm her down, telling Nero not to blame her for wanting to leave after a gun's been pulled, even though she had wanted to leave long before Nero's pistol was out of it's holster. He whispered something to the girl, but Nero didn't care much for what he said, and tuned it out as his gaze fell on the young lady. She apologized and it was rich, so much so that Nero nearly laughed. He stifled himself, and was almost out of body with adrenaline and excitement, his hand shook as he brought his pistol close to his face and tapped the side of the slide to his temple. "Oh, there's no trouble missy..." Nero barked, sucking a thick drag from the cigarette and leaning toward them, blowing it in their air. "See, I been thinkin'. Why, why, why, do ya want me to leave so bad? I may be shootin' but theres no blood... Not yet." He brought the pistol away from his head and spun it by the trigger guard around on his index finger. Nero didn't wait for an answer, he had one ready. "Y'see, the way I figure it, you've got some dirty dealin goin' on here, and hell, I'm not one to get cut out of dirty deals... Besides, I ain't afraid of any little threats you got for me... If I so much as lose blood pressure, my suit here will send a relay to the spire and have UAS units here so fast your heads will spin." Nero stopped spinning the pistol, grasping it by the grip and holding it to his side. His smile still twisted and toothy, he continued. "So, what'll it be? I report you in for... Whatever the hell I feel like, or you all pay me off and I never speak of this little altercation again?"

Trent looked at Nero with his bossy questions and rather bold attitude, this did not sit well with him as he tapped his forehead while looking in Nero's direction as if telling the colonel to think carefully. He was in fact telling him to think in general because the man was not thinking to him, and he was making demands he would not see fulfilled. "Then we have a problem, you think that someone like me can be swayed by tactics that I have used often, and many of the people I've worked for use on a daily basis... I'd think again colonel, or maybe you've heard of me. Trent Sharpe, ask UAS command about me... I'm sure some of them know something... Now you here to threaten and bluster, or you here to be civil...." His words were short and sharpened, like daggers rolling from his tongue that were meant for the colonel, he was not reaching for his gun yet though if the colonel made one stupid move he have his gun at the colonels head and the one threatening him since obviously this was not taken in official capacity. However he looked to the other two and closed his eyes, before shaking his head and realizing the rest of this meeting was blown. This was a disaster that he had to salvage something from, but what could he gain from the interruption of a UAS officer when he knew the target data. Thinking he got a crafty idea since he knew the UAS had many opportunistic people in it, and this colonel was selling older arms to the liberation army. "Colonel perhaps we could work out an arrangement, I know you've been working against the UAS to some capacity. I'll call it profiteering, so you help me and forget this altercation and I don't tell them what nasty little rumors I've heard." The look on his face was not the same as the colonels when he used his extortion attempt, this was even more serious as if he would do it without hesitation. Whatever side paid him was all that mattered, and there would be smugglers and weapons brokers who could gain in profit if the colonel's business was put to an end. He had more allegiance with the criminal underground than anyone else, and if an old boss asked for a favor it meant he could do the same when needed. However he was honorable in his work, and despite how he acted he was not shifty or prone to double crossing. Even after the job he never betrayed clients, it went against his beliefs as they were his small way of retaining what made him a good person. "Do we have a deal, and if you say yes I will kill you if you decide to betray me or renege on it and break silence." He gave one last sharp warning, he was not going to pass up a chance to get that data with inside help. He might also snag the rest of the gear he needed from him, like a sniper rifle and headset with full sensors.

Sasuke leaned back on his hands again as the two men exchanged words. Boredom spread across his face. Talking was annoying, but it couldn't be helped. Then 'Tempest' commented. "Colonel perhaps we could work out an arrangement, I know you've been working against the UAS to some capacity. I'll call it profiteering, so you help me and forget this altercation and I don't tell them what nasty little rumors I've heard." Hmp. Using the data he gave him on the colonel, eh? That was very trusting of him. Sasuke could have lied if he wanted to, but that didn't help either of them in the situation. So what was Trent planning? Sasuke sat in wait. If things changed to a fight, he would be ready. As an android, he was much stronger then he looked. Sasuke was fairly quick too, with an ability over the electricity in his body. His eyes red under the dark glasses, scanning the two as the conversation heightened. He could only guess that Sam was ready to faint under the rising pressure. Hopefully, she wasn't the fainting type. He didn't want to have to deal with that.

"See, I been thinkin'. Why, why, why, do ya want me to leave so bad? I may be shootin' but theres no blood... Not yet." Because that really made anybody feel better. The thoguh of UAS soldiers swarming the place didn't really help either " I just really...don't like violence." She tried to cover up more. "Colonel perhaps we could work out an arrangement, I know you've been working against the UAS to some capacity. I'll call it profiteering, so you help me and forget this altercation and I don't tell them what nasty little rumors I've heard." Not that her cover ups did much good appearently, Tempest kept contradicting their cover ups. "Shut up you idiot" she couldn't help but think to herself.
If he was right about what he just said, then they had definatley just given up the ploy of just having a nice little conversation in the booth. Would it go farther to reveal who they actually were?
She glanced at Sasuke wondering what he had planned if this were to turn into an actual fight. He was studying the other two, so she couldn't quite tell what he was thinking, not that she could ever read him well anyways. Her heart was thundering in her chest, though nothing had happened yet, it seemed things would go that way soon. She moved her hands into her lap, discreetly reaching into her sleeve and grasping the handle of her shock knife. If this was going to turn into a fight, she wasn't just going to act like some idiot weakling, or the "damsel in distress". That was most definatly not her stile. As scared as she was, she could at least say she was stronger than that.

Nero laughed, and laughed loud. His mouth wide open, but his half a cigarette still stuck in the corner of his mouth. This guy, who identified himself as Trent Sharpe, someone Nero didn't even know and wasn't going to be bothered to bring up a file on him. The way Nero saw it at this point, he wouldn't need to bring up and dossier on this guy, because Nero would probably have the pleasure of either killing him on the spot with his little friends, or forgetting them entirely in a drunken haze. Just when Nero thought he couldn't get any bigger a laugh, this Trent Sharpe fellow was trying to blackmail a blackmailer. "Colonel perhaps we could work out an arrangement, I know you've been working against the UAS to some capacity. I'll call it profiteering, so you help me and forget this altercation and I don't tell them what nasty little rumors I've heard." It seemed he was an ex U.A.S. member, surely, but obviously he didn't know the chain of command too well. It was Nero's word against a U.A.S. deserter's word, and quite frankly this didn't make Nero budge one bit. In fact, if he even bothered to come up to them with such information, he would probably be killed or imprisoned on the spot for both being a deserter, and for defaming a Colonel of the U.A.S. Yes, Mr. Sharpe in Nero's opinion, only dug himself a deeper grave along with his two pals. Nero's face was in a wide smile as he looked down from them and sucked in a deep drag from his cigarette, before taking it in hand and flicking it onto the table in disrespect. He exhaled the smoke upward and gave them a toothy smile, eyes wide open and crazy. He heard the young lady murmur "I just really... don't like violence." and to Nero, that was a damn shame, because if Mr Sharpe didn't back off, Nero would blow an aggression inhibitor and there would be more violence then she would be willing to handle.
"I don't think you've got your cards lined up just right, there, Mister Sharpe. The way I sees it you've got a high ten and I've got a royal flush, and I think anyone familiar with poker will know who's gonna win this out. I'll give ya this much: Ya got some cojones to talk back t'me like I'm some kinda punk. Almost sounds like ya wanna dance, there, cowboy. Do your little friends wanna join in as well? I'm sure they didn't come to a bar unarmed. I'm sure you didn't either." Nero smirked, if they pulled weapons on him it'd just be another charge he could lay on them if he decided to call reinforcements. "But ya know... I could just forget this whole, entire thing, for a couple thousand units... say, 10,000 units of currency will get you out of this six-foot grave you've all gone and done dug yerselves. Or we could go a cheaper route... You know how much three bullets for my pistol costs? Fifteen units of currency, thats five a bullet, alot cheaper for both me and you, if you're catchin' my drift." Nero stated, smirking defiantly in their faces. He spat on the ground between his feet, pulling up a chair from the table he had knocked into and lifting up a leg, setting his boot on the chair as if it were a step, Nero leaned on his raised knee and smirked a toothy smirk. "So, now that you've got my final ultimatum, what'll it be... Mr. Sharpe? Miss, and Mister... Oh I didn't quite catch ya names." Nero thought it a bad move on Mr. Sharpe's part to have given away his name so easily, even Nero didn't give up his name, and besides, it wasn't like they could do too much with just a name, unlike Nero, who could request information on anyone he thought to be working for the Liberation, and get all kinds of details.

Trent was lucky his past was buried so deep that nobody even bothered anymore, any information on him was scattered and broken. The basics could be confirmed but one thing was clear, his allegiances were to himself and only himself. Anything that could be found could place him working with the Liberation, UAS, and many other corporate entities as well as known organizations. "I don't play cards so what your saying means nothing to me, and it's bad business to make an enemy of someone like me who doesn't care who is paying them..." This was getting too hot and he had to bug out now, otherwise things were going to explode and it would look bad with more than one person. Still he refused to bow to a UAS officer and pay him what he didn't even have, all he had right now was enough to keep himself fed, equipped, and a roof over his head. He clearly showed disdain to Nero but right now he was also showing signs of something else that had not been present in the matter previously, however this was his ruse also so he could talk to the guy who owned this place who had the right to throw Nero out and even ban him from entering.
Trent shook his head and sneered at Nero, he was not going to give that man any of his money which covered his costs. The worst that could happen was they might try to arrest him, even then he'd escape before they could catch him. His response to Nero was short and precise, one that was not expected of this meeting but still just like him since he would not back down. "These two can decide what they want, I'm going to see how this mess unfolds after I get another drink. Colonel this matter isn't worth yours or my bullets or our money, when your ready to be civil and willing to negotiate then talk to me... I'll give you a fifteen percent discount on my fees should you decide to hire my services twice, after that you pay in full. I need to go and get another drink, maybe make a call. Sit tight you two, I'll return." He then calmly got up and walked away as he paid for his drinks and had Nero's money reimbursed while paying for the three shots himself. He would probably go underground for a while, and take some jobs for former employers while learning more of this Colonel Nero.
He asked the bartender for the phone as he dialed up his friend and merely asked for info on Nero, however he made sure to mask it with other words and when he hung up got himself another drink and watched as three men in solid black rig suits carrying assault rifles came from a back room." The big man says your banned from this place until further notice unless you leave his friends here alone, either way UAS trash like you isn't all that welcome here..." They said just as Tent sat back down and ignored the Colonel as he watched to see how the two of them handled this situation, obviously he'd gone one step further than expected and called in some muscle. "I apologize to the two of you, can we continue somewhere more private. I can have a private room prepared, where we won't have any interruptions." He offered to Sasuke and the girl, given the nature of the job perhaps he could cut Nero in and get his help too. Waving the men off he smiled and looked to Nero, making it look like he merely had pull here and those men were sent without his knowledge. "Colonel, you scratch my back I scratch yours. My final proposition, you help me on my job and we split the money down the middle. Besides those bastards at the UAS need to be brought down a peg or two, we don't owe you on the shots now so your only real leverage is gone. You can look for ages, but looking up any records on me is like trying to find a ghost. So do we have a deal, plus I will owe you a favor to be called in when needed. This is between you and I, and only us." Trent held out a hand like he was serious, getting intel on UAS positions would be easier with someone on the inside. Even for the job, he might be able to establish some kind of business arrangement with Nero out of this if he was indeed selling weapons.

The Colonel and Trent continued to exchange words. Sasuke glared. Why were they getting dragged in by Trent's threats? "These two can decide what they want, I'm going to see how this mess unfolds after I get another drink. Colonel this matter isn't worth yours or my bullets or our money, when your ready to be civil and willing to negotiate then talk to me... I'll give you a fifteen percent discount on my fees should you decide to hire my services twice, after that you pay in full. I need to go and get another drink, maybe make a call. Sit tight you two, I'll return." Trent finally said before leaving the three alone.
"What a pain." Sasuke complained. "So much for a relaxing evening. " He folded his arms across his chest and leaned back in his seat. Sasuke looked at Nero. What was he going to say about this? As much as Sasuke could handle a fight, he didn't want to be responsible if Sam were to get hurt. He didn't know how well she fought. He let out a sigh.
Three men showed up and started saying Nero wasn't allowed here anymore. Sasuke shook his head. He knew this wasn't going to go well. Just then, Trent came back and waved the men away. "I apologize to the two of you, can we continue somewhere more private. I can have a private room prepared, where we won't have any interruptions. Colonel, you scratch my back I scratch yours. This is between you and I, and only us." Trent started. Sasuke looked at Sam and nodded at him. The Colonel might give them trouble. But at least hearing what they had to say could be worth it. Sasuke recorded whatever he heard or saw to his databanks. If something was said that could help them he would remember it.
